How do we get it all done?

Do you think there is any way? Or do the people who try go crazy?

Okay, today I have really long list of things to do!

1. Fred Haircut – done (i didn’t have to do it, just get a appt. and organize it)

2. Potty Training- All day

3. School- working on it

4. Make dinner

5. Cooking class with the boys

6. Vacuum living room- done

7. Clean boys room

8. Finish laundry for the week

9. Yard raked (this is not actually me, but directing boys and F.)

10. Get my sewing machine to the shop

11. Mop kitchen floor

12. Clean Office

And I am sure there is more that I have not written down! Tomorrow, it will begin again…… I am using these charts in a organizing notebook for my monthly and weekly chores. I also have a chart for daily chores.<p>

So, not everything done, some will be transferred over!

I don't know if it is possible. Some days go better then others. Some days I just run out of energy before the list is done. I was telling Matt that I think it is wrong that I list my accomplishments and they are always the household chores but I don't add the stories I read to the girls, sitting down and feeding Ethan a bottle, settling arguments, art projects with the girls, ect… as things of accomplishment. So sometimes I just have to look around and tell myself that the things that got done today were more important but invisible to the eye…
I was cleaning this morning with my microfiber rags and I suddenly remembered that you had asked where I bought mine and I had never answered. I just bought the bag at Costco. They were in the auto department for cleaning cars and a really big bag was only $15 I think. I also have three more espensive ones that my mom bought me but I like the Costco ones better. I use them for windows, floors, dusting, polishing, and even as diaper insterts for the Fuzzi Bunz. They were well worth the $15!

I tend to just do what I can…but like Diana said, there are way more important things that you do that aren't on that list, and when the boys are older are they going to remember how clean or messy the house was…or how often mom took time to do things with them? =)

Personally, I like lists! It motivates me to "just do it". While you can't always do it all, you can sometimes get quite a bit done if you get focused. Another good things about a list is that it allows you to put the thoughts out of your mind…like trying to remember is just one more thing to do!

Like the others said, it is good to get things done but even if you get all the laundry done, there will be some new dirty laundry tomorrow. That's a guarantee. Your kids and husband…there's no guarantee in that so be sure to schedule time in to ENJOY them (which I KNOW you already do!). 🙂

    Love,
    Marsha
