My Review:
Miralee Ferrell is one of those authors that I place on my must read, must buy list so I own a copy to lend out. From her earlier contemporary novels to her latest western novels, you will find they are not just “western romance”. When you read one of her books, you will meet characters that are dealing with real life issues of pain and in this book, abandonment. Throughout the book, she draws you into the story to make you want to walk through the issues with them, and discover more about them, and watch a sweet romance develop without too many details. This book would be good for teens or adults, the whole series is excellent, from beginning to end.
I would have to say one of my favorite parts was, probably the secondary story with Charles Pape, I won’t give anything away about it, but it was really fun! I loved the light humor that was woven throughout the story, but also, seeing the characters from the previous books as well.
This is not just another “western romance”, this is a story that takes place in the west with what feels like, real people. You will fall in love with the author and the book. Head to the store and place this on order now! You won’t be sorry!

Thanks, Pat! Be sure you read Forget Me Not (book 2) and Wishing on Buttercups, book 3 first if you can. The most important one to read is #3, as it ties in closely to #4, Dreaming on Daisies. .Forget Me Not can easily be a stand alone and read at any time.

Thank you, Charity! Only a handful of pre-readers have read the new one, as it releases in a week. But you won’t want to miss Forget Me Not, the 162 page novella that’s also in the series. A number of readers have said it’s their favorite so far, although that could change after they read Dreaming on Daisies!

I love lots of books set in the west. My favorite contemporary with a hint of western is Jenna’s Cowboy by Sharon Gillenwater, as someone mentioned above. The whole series is really enjoyable. But, as far as historical titles go, there was a book a few years ago called Walker’s Wedding by Lori Copeland that I liked a lot. There are many more western themed books I love, but that is one for the keeper shelf, for sure 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win one of Miralee’s books.

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series. Will have to go back and check and see if I have real the novella.
I recently enjoyed the Prairie Dreams series by Susan Page Davis. The first involves the wagon train journey and the others are set in the West, mostly Oregon I believe.

Loved Blowing on Dandelions and already have Wishing on Buttercups to begin soon and would love to have this to complete the series… I also love the LOVE FINDS YOU series… especially ones set in the west… Read the Pendleton one which is where I live and I loved the Deadwood one also… I have the four that Miralee wrote in a stack by my couch waiting for their turns too… sharonemmons_9@hotmail.com

Hi Sharon, I”m so glad you enjoyed Dandeloins….you might want to pick up a copy of Forget Me Not, as well, the 162 pg novella that fits between book 1 & 2, but can really be read anytime after the first one. Thank you for mentioning my LFY novels. I loved writing those!!! Too bad they aren’t still publishing them. But I’m working on a set of new Western romances soon.

I love the western historical Karen Witemeyer books. I have some Love Finds You by Miralee Ferrell on my keeper bookshelf as well. I haven’t read any of the Love Blossoms in Oregon series yet, but they sound interesting.
